Donna Greco was a shoemaker during the 20th century whose footwear was available in Paris in the fashionable 8th arondissement and in the United States through department store trunk shows and custom orders. While few examples of her work seem to survive in American museum collections, descriptions of her designs indicate a preference for vivid colors, and these shoes are no exception.
