Wedding gown

Dress top has tightly-fitted bodice lined in brown polished cotton. Double hook and eyes up front; covered with long flap of material gathered at neck and waist to make softly pleated effect. On each side of this flap are bands of 2″ brown velvet that continue around neck. Long narrow sleeves; cuffs trimmed in 2″ velvet cuffs edged with lace ruffles. Bodice is cut higher at sides of waist. Skirt: brown faille taffeta lined with brown velvet pleated panels at sides. Front of skirt puffs out widely above hips. Back of skirt has wide puffed bustle which extends over separate skirt.
